Totally agree. Wren has been spoken about on here a lot and I do work for them. Wren is a new company to the uk and the correct procedures were not in place to rectify mistakes during the early days, today is normally a different story. Customer service and service recovery are top of the agenda, its not the finished article yet but its getting there fast... I look forward to the day and I don't think its far away when Wrens customer service exceeds or is better than the market leader.. WICKES.

    Regards
Im sorry but if this is the sort of person that Wren employes who believes that wickes are the market leader I think no more needs to be said.

Also from Wrens own Website 'Wren Kitchens has been an industry leader in kitchen manufacturing for both the UK and US markets for 35 years'
Been going for 35 years and you consider this to be a new company to the uk???? What more needs to be said about the calibre of staff

    Adam

Whatever your personal beef with and subsequent very vocal crusade against Wren at every conceivable opportunity you harm your cause and your credibility immeasurably by launching an ad hominem attack against this poster.

    Just sayin'

    Cheers

35 yrs manufacturing kitchens mainly in America for the American market. 4 yrs retailing in the uk and 3 yrs manufacturing in the uk. Sorry if you find the website confusing.

Im not going to knock Howdens as a company or their product,
I have a lot of friends who work there, The only gripe I have about them is the way some branches operate.

    Regards

If you think Wickes are leaders in CS, you must be reading there own propaganda.
Take it from a fitter who fits for two of the sheds. Wickes are not dreadfull but they are far from a leader, they like to think they are the best because there product is good( for a shed).

I think I agree with both of you, in a way. Work for Wickes in K&B and generally the service behind the scenes in delivery and backup is surprisingly good for a national chain. With the amount of deliveries and orders processed and picked, you would expect more problems than we seem to get. It aint perfect for sure, designers make mistakes and wrong items get delivered or items get missed or damaged sometimes. But most times, things get sorted pretty quickly. It is something we are pretty good at, given the size of the operation.

I can see why Wren would be looking at us as the benchmark for a national. But for a national is the key phrase there. So I can see why Premkit says we aint all that either. I bet there are some locals which are bang on every time.....

I ordered my kitchen from Wren was quite wary as had not heard from them but I love the kitchen and had no problems at all. I did get my own joiner who fitted it for me he was impressed as units were ready made up so quicker for him to fit. Kitchen is still looking good two years later.

    Hi All
We are totally confused, looking to get a new kitchen, the issues are that we are thinking of downgrading in a few years and we have a large kitchen.
We have looked at various designs and manufacturers and we like the look of a couple of the designs marketed by Wren, not yet had them round to quote, can anyone advise on their quality and service before we decide or any other suggestions would be helpful.

    Many Thanks

i would suggest from my own experience with this company, please save your self the trouble, money and if your looking for pain free, stress free project ....stay away from these guys, i recommend!
