50% off SKY discount code

Hi, does anyone know if the discount can be used by someone in the same household but with a different name surname. Sky is currently in my name and costs me over £100 per month for everything. If I cancelled my contract could my partner then use the code even though it is the same address so we can get 50% off for the year which would be a fab saving.

Cheers:j

    I very much doubt it.
Why not just trim your subscription a bit.?

Agreed, it was better when they had the six entertainment mixes.

You can't even get Sports F1 as a stand alone any more, I have it by virtue of the legacy HD pack.

Just cancelled movie myself saving £8 /month as the 50% discount offer had come to and end.

Have you thought of ringing up and cancelling the lot? You have to be prepared to go through with it though? See who blinks first?

Why does cancelling the movies save you £8/month when the website states it costs £16/month to switch on? Is it to do with bundles or something?

I had a 50% off deal for 12 months, it would have gone up to £16.
Just not worth it considering most movies these days are made for teens with raging hormones.

But I have no such deal but was only quoted a saving of £8/month if I get rid?

    Thats a right Toya Willcox.

Did you get some other discount when you took out the movie pack.
Other than that Skys billing system can take a month or so to sort itself out.

That's it then, if you have sports and movies they cost less combined than the stand alone prices. I think?
