VOIP and old T&Cs on T-mobile
Wonder if anyone can enlighten me,
I'm on T-mobile (EE) with a Combi 30 price plan, a very old plan where I have unlimted texts and unlimited internet + £15 discount for being a Sim Only long term customers.
Now it seems that VIBER and VOIP service has been blocked on my phone, I've renewed my old contract without migrating to new fancier ones so I assume I'm still on those T&Cs, in newew T&Cs there appears to be a clause that says VOIP is not allowed, however! There does not appear to be any mention of VOIP in the original T&C's that I signed up for,
Pretty sure they've been trying to force me off the contract for a while now so am I in might rights to call them and calmly explain that I would like no blocks on my phone for certain internet services? I.e get them to unblock VIBER

If you renewed your contract you'll now be on the T&Cs relevant on the date of your renewal.
When you agreed your "renewed" plan did you re-confirm VOIP. If not then you're unlikely to get them reinstated.
If the T&C's relevant at the time of renewal actually state "VOIP not allowed", then your going to struggle to prove otherwise.
If they did confirm the services at your renewal then raise a complaint with CS and stick it in writing.
It will be your word against theirs though. Still worth taking it to CISAS if it's not resolved within 8 weeks, it costs you nothing.
The advice to go to OFCOM is incorrect. OFCOM do not deal with individual complaints.0
