Thanks Molly for taking the time and effort to reassure us all as quite few of us were getting worried.....

Can anyone point me in the right direction of Hester's new blog please?

LW sorry to hear about Mary, I know that you were particularly fond of her. I really feel for the animals this year, it is hot for us but must be awful for them.

I have put extra bowls of water out in the garden for the birds, poor things.

Elona can I have a link to Hesters blog too please.

We got some Billy bookcases today and DH promptly dropped one  the corner is a bit damaged so it is a good job it is only for the utility room. What really got my goat according to him it was my fault ???????????
    Honestly MEN!!!!!!
Got quite a few bits from B&M for the stock cupboard and some paint for the outside of the hous, so that when it gets cooler DH and DS can get on with the outside decorating, that will be fun, they spark at each other over the least little thing rk+OeUsD2lALHPaWA7X8BChwfUweaU10AAAAASUVORK5CYII=238A4tNAUO6CaFkAAAAASUVORK5CYII=

Very hot here but I'm trying not to complain. Last winter was so long and dreary it's good to see the sun and stock up on vitamin D.Our strawberries are ripe at last and the blackcurrants are beginning to change colour.

I went out to lunch with friends today so am not at all hungry this evening. I'll have to cook for DH though.

Please could I have the link to Hester's blog too.

    Evening all,

Felt like Dorothy,s witch today - I,m melting, i,m melting....

Hotter than a hot thing! Have spent the day checking up on Muslim,s I work with, it,s Ramadan, and they don,t eat or drink during daylight hours, needed to know they were okay in this heat. Everyone else got chilled bottles of water.

Have cooked 2 x gammon joints I bought HP at Mr L,s, will make some colslaw and home grown new pots to go with.

OH bought back 2 bottles of chilled rose, so have sunk one between us already - now just want water and lots of it:beer:

Took DD (17) to dentist today for an orthordentist appointment - I admit its wrong, but the Dr was HOT, young irish guy, both DD and I where mesmerised by his soft Irish Burr.... And I,m back in the room:eek:

Hugs to all, and would love Heater new blog, I miss her wit x

Have a lovely evening all x

Hi chums I went to Lakeside today and boy it was a scorcher, but I got my new table and hopefully my son-in-law will come with his screwdriver and fix it altogether for me .We went into the shopping area as well and it was lovely in there, nice and cool with air-con blasting away.Coming home over QE2 Bridge we saw a nasty motorbike accient Hope the young chap is ok.
Then we went to Wilkinsons, B&Qs and Family Bargains to try to buy some green plastic chairs for the garden apparently few places sell them as they are now considered dangerous as the legs break too easily. We went into Dobbies as a last resort and saw some lovely ones in there and the chap said to come back tomorrow as the sale starts and they will be reduced from £50 to £15.each So I shall be there just after the school run is done to snaffle a couple for DDs garden, nice of the bloke to tell us I thought. Then we went and had a lovely cuppa for two and a squashy cake as a treat The garden centre is lovely and well worth it for the tea was gorgeous and the cakes were devine
I'm not really hungry now so I may just have some fruit later as a snack its far too hot to cook at the moment
Hope everyone has had a nice day Only 23 days till our holiday hope the weather lasts through August :):)
    Cheers chums

Hi I would like the link to Hester's blog too please.

Can't remember who posted to say they had a yucky tummy today....me too, had to come home early after I'd been sick. I was the second member of staff to succumb. Just managed some scrambled egg, but feeling quite yucky. Sitting outside with the cat crying in front of me because I've given him Kitekat instead of Felix As Good as it looks for his tea!

I've been doing some online research on a supplement that may help youngest DDs CFS - it's called Vegepa; a combination of Omega 3 and Evening Primrose oils. It works out quite pricey, but it can't do any harm to try it....my mum went halves so that was good. First delivery arrived today, so she's started it.

Only 2 days left at work, then 6 weeks off!:T
