    OP, you have told us:
2 bedroom apartments with kids' dens sleep up to 6 with a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a themed kids' den bedroom with bunkbeds, TV and Playstation2™ and 2 sofa-beds in the living area.

This looks to me like you get a "themed kids' den bedroom with bunkbeds".
    Did you get that?

It goes on to say "TV and Playstation2™ and 2 sofa-beds in the living area".
Did you get a TV in the living area?
Did you get a Playstation2™ in the living area?
Did you get 2 sofa-beds in the living area?

I imagine you didn't get the Playstation2™ because you didn't pay the requested deposit.
Did you pay the requested deposit?

The website makes the destinction between the types of appartments and makes it clear in my view what we should have received.

    Apartment facilities
2 bedroom apartments with kids' dens sleep up to 6 with a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a themed kids' den bedroom with bunkbeds, TV and Playstation2™ and 2 sofa-beds in the living area. Cots on request, at a charge.
    .

It does state it in the facilities?

It goes on to say "TV and Playstation2™ and 2 sofa-beds in the living area".
Did you get a TV in the living area? Yes
Did you get a Playstation2™ in the living area? NO
Did you get 2 sofa-beds in the living area? NO
I think it is down to interpretation and I interpret the " a themed kids den bedroom with bunk beds, TV and Playstation" and 2 sofa beds in the living area. Without indicating there would be extra deposit for high value items where could it end.

    Sorry, I think you've read it wrong:o

    I'm reading it as:
    Apartment facilities

2 bedroom apartments with kids' dens sleep up to 6 with a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a themed kids' den bedroom with bunkbeds, TV and Playstation2™ and 2 sofa-beds in the living area. Cots on request, at a charge.

    Not
2 bedroom apartments with kids' dens sleep up to 6 with a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a themed kids' den bedroom with bunkbeds, TV and Playstation2™ and 2 sofa-beds in the living area. Cots on request, at a charge.

So the only thing you didn't get was the playstation, which you could have had if you'd paid a returnable security deposit, which, considering a PS is easy for anyone to steal, isn't unreasonable.

    peachy
I understand the potential variance in interpretations, the description however added to the "kids den photos" on the site led me to believe I was paying for some enhancement of facilities. My two boys were excited by having a den to use in the evening on holiday.
I am still not sure what I received as an upgrade for the £168 paid. The PS 2 were available to any apartment that wanted to pay the deposit, we had not budgeted for the additional 100 euros that would have been tied up until we handed it back, so didn't have have it
    Thanks for your comments

    I read
    Apartment facilities
2 bedroom apartments with kids' dens sleep up to 6 with a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a themed kids' den bedroom with bunkbeds, TV and Playstation2™ and 2 sofa-beds in the living area. Cots on request, at a charge.
    to be
    1. Twin bedroom with ensuite
    2. Themed kids' den bedroom with bunkbeds TV & PS2
    3. 2 Sofa beds in the living room.

The picture in the OPs original post clearly shows a TV in the kids' bedroom.

If the TV referred was in the living room then I would have expected it to read
a themed kids' den bedroom with bunkbeds and a TV, Playstation2™ and 2 sofa-beds in the living area

I realise this is going to be controversial but here goes,
Firstly I agree that you seem to have been short changed on the facilities you had booked.
But why do you need a separate tv, playstation in the kids room, whatever happened to the idea of a family entertaining themselves with card games board games etc .Can the children not exist for a week or two without tv and play stations.

They could ... but if the OP has paid for such niceties, then surely he's entitled to receive them?

For the record, I'm with the OP & !!!!!! - because of the particular locations of the 'and' and the comma in the description, I read it as a kids room with bunkbeds, TV & PS2 - and then additional sofabeds in the living room; not that the TV & PS2 were in the living room with the sofabeds.

I think the best you can ask for OP is the difference between having a 2bed apt, and having a kids' den apt. Other than the fact that the second bedroom has bunks rather than twin beds, I can see no difference.

Not controversial at all, I agree. We booked as a treat for the boys to play in the morning in hope we could lie in bed a little longer, but resorted to beat the neighbour instead.

I intend to ask for exactly that, once they confirm in writing their explanation given on the phone.
    Thanks
