The right church for you is something I would agree with but the phrase at question was the 'true' church which isn't the same thing.

You're right, I should have said "true Church".

Good luck in your search. As others have said, I think the important thing is to go with an open mind and not be put off if the first place/service you attend isn't really your cup of tea. There's definitely a place for you, and God will help you find it. I'd also definitely recommend an Alpha course, it's a great opportunity to explore things in a less formal setting. Take care xx.

I dont feel I need to belong to a particular church,I just like them, especially very old ones, I do believe in Jesus, in that I think he did exist,

But what I think are really wonderful are the 10 comandments, just think if we all followed them how much better off the human race would be.
So I probably wouldnt be regarded as a christian but think I am a better person for knowing about the comandments and doing my best to live y them

If it's the 10 commandments in particular that rock your boat, you sound more Jewish than Christian!

You might find this online tool the Belief-O-Matic quite interesting. It asks you some questions about the way you see the world, and tells you faiths you might be interested in finding more about.

I always considered myself agnostic, but apparently I should be a Unitarian Universalist. Well, you learn something new every day!

And I should be an Orthodox Quaker, which explains why I keep moaning that the music at one of our churches is FAR TOO LOUD!!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
It's exactly the sort of thing I was wondering if there was in my earlier post!

Sadly none of the questions feel 'right' to me and I am getting a little frustrated with it so its taking me ages to do, and I just went back to do the next one and its lost my previous answers and wants me to start again. Grrrrr
