    I always understood that the majority of people who fly regularly are business travellers but not necessarily in Business Class, so weekend prices are cheaper to try to fill the plane.

    Then again, the last time I flew was over a decade ago so this could be complete tosh :)

    I think that the destination could be a factor in that
