We have just brought a large tent, are seasoned campers, thought we would go back to a tent this year. Has anybody got any ideas on campsites they know of or have been to that just have a swimming pool are coastal and have toilet/shower blocks that they could reccomend we were looking around somerset/devon/dorset.
Thanks in advance x

Little Trevarrack is Cornwall, near St Ives. It is a great campsite with brill security, large pitches and lovely surrounding area. Including a bus into st ives.
Also try Mill Park near Ilfracombe in Devon. That is brill, and has a pub/games room on site.0 -
I think Little Trevarrack is shut now

We have just returned home after spending 3 nights at Seaview International camp site not far from St Austell in Cornwall. Excellent flat site, pool and childrens play area. Staff were all very friendly and helpful (even giving us a jump start on the car because battery went flat) and the facilities were very good. We enjoyed it so much we're going back there again for August BH weekend! :j0

The camping and caravanning club http://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/siteseekersearch/aspx/search.aspx lets you search by distance from an area, and shows listed sites as well as their club sites. It lets you filter by unit type ( tent/caravan) and pitch type ( electric hook up etc)
pitchup.com is useful but doesn't show all sites.

the reviews on the C&CC site seem to be pretty accurate and helpful for me so far, unless someone knows otherwise! tripadvisor are gaining ground in campsite reviews too, so it's definitely worth Googling the name of your site plus "reviews"Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Oh it's nothing illegal or offensive, tent painting is just that...
decorating a canvas tent by adding paint to it to create a theme - going to nick this blog again - http://bellsandlabs.blogspot.co.uk/p/painting-canvas-tents.html
As for guy lines, not an 0898 premium rate number old camping ladies phone.... guy lines are also known as guy ropes - the cords that attach the tent to the tent pegs to stop it blowing away.;)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

go for it! You'll be glad you did ( we started off in a cheapo supermarket tent and got bitten by the bug - and a lot of midges before we had an attached ground sheet)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
