Maybe someone complained to their local authority0

Yeah, wot about all my "thanks" for unmasking the dastardly scheme? I'd got twenty or so!
:D:D
Any similarity between these two posters and their threads is, obviously, purely coincidental.... I am only cross-referencing them as, I am sure, SPELLKASTER can gain from the posts for MUMZ2BEE, and vice versa... Public service, here to help, etc, etc.... {Oh, and the two posters are the same sex, and have a partner of the opposite sex so, logically, we aren't talking about two posters with same-sex partners, or any other combination}SPELLKASTER wrote: »My partner and I bought our house 3 years ago.
At the time of purchase we were made unaware of the vendor about a mobile mechanic who lives 3 doors away.
We have experienced problems with parking, he did use to dump vehicle on the grass verge outside our house (cars he was working on).
Since October their behaviour has become more sinister.
Both the mechanic and his partner (they are not married), have followed me up the road, watching where I am going.
This has been reported to the police on a number of occasions.
The woman has been making derogatory comments to others in the road, and has caused ill feeling in the street.
People have stopped speaking to us because of her behvaiour.
She walks past our house at night walking the dog, and stands and stares in our windows (this has been caught on cctv).
We have had horrendous foul abuse, and visitors to our address have also been sworn at in the street.
Our cctv only captures images and has no sound on it.
Although I have support of the police who have given us log sheets to fill in, and I have support of the local councillor, we cannot put up with this.
Wewant to sell and move but we are aware that we will have to declare.
Unsure here of what to do; we do have legal expenses on our insurance so will be phoning them on monday.
Any advice please thank you.
My advice? Stick to one UserID.
Now, I need my "thanks" back folks, or I'll quack loudly!!!0 -
Ah yes, the one that got away, "by the time I got it to shore I must have had 20 thanks, but then it slipped off the hook at the last moment"0

BUSTED ..... even before I'd posted... I've just spent a warm hour or two in the conservatory, writing this up as a pst for tomorrow ... and asking for advice on relocating my mobile mechanic business to Royal Berkshire, wondering if I could find a property with a price reduction in that area, but needing only one viewing, yet four weeks between exchange and completion.
Oh, I was considering mentioning I had a caravan I could use in the intervening period before completion, but that seemed a bit... familiar (and above my posting grade).
Dash and darn it, mrginge, I'll have to do some work tomorrow morning instead!
If it wasn't for that pesky mrginge....
Love it , crazy Tancred , Money , Spellwotsit all in one go , good work sirNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0
