Can't decide on a name for my newborn son

ARe they any websights that are interactive in that it allows you to enter criterias (answer questions) and then give you a short list of names that meet your requirements.
I come up with names but DH does not like them and visa versa. We have only a few weeks left to name the baby.
I am not looking for a websight that just gives you hundreds/thousand of names all listed in alphabetical order....
Can you help???????

Don't worry too much, when you have your son in your arms and can see what he looks like you'll find it much easier to decide whether a particular name suits him. When I was expecting our son we ended up making a "shortlist" of names that neither of us actively disliked! When he was born, he sort of looked like a "Robert" or a "Mark" - we already had a Mark in the family, so Robert it was.
I knew a lady who was expecting a girl and had decided to name her "Stephanie". But when the baby arrived, her Mum took one look at her and exclaimed "Oh dear, you're not a Stephanie at all, are you? You're a Paula!"0 -

I inadvertantly named friends son! I called him to see him and she didnt have a name. As I was holding him I told her looked like an "Oscar" and it stuck.
**little** Oscar is 8 now eeep!0 -

I love boys names i find them much easier to choose than girls thank god i had three boys and only the one girl! We knew ds3 was aboy and named him Alex although when he arrived he didnt look like Alex! We named him Luke and everybody was saying baby Alex and i spent the first month of his life correcting my sons and mum that it really was Luke!!! anyway boys in our family are Kieran owen Luke (my sons) I named my boys after people famous or otherwise that wher A) Attractive B)Nice people!!! not exactly a good way but it worked! We have Frankie Sean Harvey Cade? Adam Alfie. When i was pregnant with my daughter i chose Toby after Toby Maguire I know I know bbut he really floats my boat in a geeky nerdy kinda way, Hubs says he was glad we had a girl. HTH SharonSometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0

We can't decide either - although thankfully we've got a couple of months yet to go still. Asking friends is always helpful as they know you well enough to know what suits your family...0

It is so difficult. We wanted a name for DS that was unusual but not wierd & one that he would not have to spell out loud for the rest of his life! I have heard so many people asking either how do you pronounce or spell a name I feel so sorry for the child.
Don't forget to check the initials as well - also the surname followed by the first initial. I work with someone who got laughed at in school for being "Green P."

I found this book interesting: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Baby-Names-Signs-Robert-Parry/dp/0764119141/ref=sr_1_1/203-2782526-0835900?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1181044633&sr=8-1
Ok, you may not be in to astrology, but I picked and named 2 of my children before reading it and looking in this book they are both recommended names for their star signs!!
It might help you a bit and anything is worth a try! I borrowed this from my library.
I struggled with boy's names too. I was ok with girls but terrible with boys. It didn't help that my mum hated DS1s name, but we stuck to our guns and everyone seems over it now! It's always really suited him, even as a baby so I am glad we didn't get persuaded to change it. Personally, I wouldn't start asking family as they might put you off a name both of you agree on (and you're already struggling!!)MFW 2019#24 £9474.89/£11000 MFW 2018#24 £23025.41/£15000
