If you can get young vegetable plants you could try leeks, cabbages, courgettes, pumpkins and many others.

If you are growing from seed I would go for dwarf french beans, peas, courgettes, squashes, and perhaps carrots. Also, some varieties of cabbage can be sown now.

You can plant squash, it isnt to late to plant but they can take over. I would buy a squash from the market and eat it (roasted is delicious) and then plant the seeds.

Salads and radishes take only a few weeks until ready to eat.

There are varieties of Tomato that'll grow outside, but you'd probably have to buy plants rather than seeds (I think it tends to be the French varieties that are OK)

If you're growing stuff from seed you can always stick a few things in the ground and just hope for the best- the seasons are all messed up anyway. We had daffs flowering in November last year! Global warming eh!?

Definitely Peas are ok to plant till july - I'd risk beans too...
Rocket - although it's a salad... raddish I just planted out. You could even give onion a try although they'd not really be seed... You might find someone has a lot of tomato plants as 9 out of 10 times I'd end up with more plants than I thought would germinate... same for courgettes.
And you could plant some chilli seeds indoors - they should just about stil catch up :) Oh and late spuds!!
