    Afternoon All

Bitsy - That's exactly what happens to me if I eat breakfast too early, I need to be up a good 4/5 hours before I can eat.
Hilstep - Glad you have had all your tests and had a comfortable stay.
Moorhen - Terrible news, my heart goes out to the family and yourselves.

Had a lovely day, DD and I put the bikes on the car to the train station and got the train to Glasgow. We then cycled the 20 miles back again, stopping for snacks and a picnic lunch. It was really good and will do it again some time.
Collected my new specs on the way through one of the towns so that will save me a trip tomorrow.

Chicken something for tea, washing up to date and house reasonably clean (no-one has been in much!).

    Take care. XX

    Afternoon all,

helen my three boys and girl all have thick wavy hair like their dad. My daughter loves hers and has it long and can either straighten it or make it curly fairly easily but the boys struggle.
My older two have it cut very short and just a little gel at the front, my youngest is really into the rockabilly look so he has the sides shaved and a quiff on top which he has no trouble keeping in place but looks like a cockerel I. The mornings lol.
On the plus side my hubby is 52 and has a full thick head of hair even if its liberally streaked with grey, I still think he's gorgeous:o

Well have listed about eight more items on eBay and one already has a bid. Hopefully they will sell. We need any extra money we can get this week as work is quiet.
My DD seems to have met a new chap, he sounds lovely but we are not allowed to meet him yet apparently its far too early:eek:
My son in Australia has been texting a lot today, the weather is very chilly over there at the moment:p

Anyway my middle boy and his gf are coming for tea, bit of a surprise but hey ho, they will be having frozen pizza, wedges and salad out of the garden, with strawberries out of the garden and ice cream for dessert.

Never a dull moment here but I wouldn't have it any other way:D

Moorhen, that is awful, the poor family must be bereft.

Hilly nice to see you back and that you had such good treatment.

Had a blood test this morning 5 phials worth , I didn't like the health care worker who took it, she wasn't the one I normally see. I usually don't feel it when I have them, but she was really rough and I have a lovely bruise now :( Then she did my blood pressure and said it was much too low 74/55 and "Are you I feeling alright and are you dizzy?" usually they are banging on that it is too high, there's no pleasing them :p

I pottered round town for a while and met DD for lunch and yes I paid :rotfl:

I need to use the hose tonight, usually I don't like to but all three water barrels (200L each) are empty now :(

But my veggies need water so the hose it is. I wonder which water company will put a hosepipe ban on first?
But they still don't fix leaks or build new reservoirs, their profits come before customers :mad::mad::mad:

There that should raise my blood pressure nicely :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Off to pick some salad leaves for dinner

    BFN x

Hilly - Glad you are home and that things are being sorted x

I have really struggled today and my head is very bad. I fell asleep on my bed at lunch and woke up feeling really ill. I looked at the temp in our room and it is 29 degrees with windows and fan on. I really dont like this heat and i dont feel guilty for moaning:o

    Hugs x

Moorhen, tragic news, thoughts with the family x
Been to work for a meeting since I am off on long term sick, came back and got a car insurance quote, amazed that it has come down to £170 since I have a new car and only me named on policy now, but wasn't going to argue at that price!
It was only me in for tea, so I had a fish finger sandwich, hadn't had one of them for years!
Dull here again today, but still hot and sweaty, I think we are using almost as much shower gel as we are juice!
Right , jammie time I think, didn't sleep last night so will be in bed early tonight .
    RIP Iain

    Evening all,

Still warm here, but overcast yesterday and to-day, everything needed to be watered, raspberries are very small, think that they needed some rain, can't really justify using the water, so small crop this year!

So sorry to hear about the child who lost her mother....take it that it was sudden, very difficult for those left behind.

Hilstep...sorry to hear that you have been in hospital, but glad that you had the problem sorted.

Went to local hospital this morning to leave a sample to make sure that kidney infection is really gone, hope so after 3 courses of antibiotics.

Had a text from DD4 this morning, they are having a nice time in Canaries she has never been on a package holiday before so glad that its working out.

Had an insurance agent call to-day to talk to us about life assurance for OH...his current one had the premium rocket in January and it has been leaving us a bit tight with money....will see what this guy comes up with as can't see myself being able to keep paying what I am doing at the moment.

Hugs to all who are under the weather for any reason, sleep well and stay safe.
