Ignore or appeal - Excel parking

My daughter has today received a PCN from excel parking for failing to display a ticket at Bryn House in Wigan. She purchased a ticket and displayed as usual. The notice includes photographs of the car arriving at 12.30 and leaving at 14.17, she paid enough for 4 hours!! No parking ticket was placed on the car and she no longer has the pay and display ticket as she threw it away with all her others. I know people say to ignore letters is that still the case or should i contact them and explain? They say the "contravention date" was the 01/07/2013 and only issued the notice 12/07/2013 and given 14 days to pay 60.00 or it will increase to 100.00.

I also notice the director of excel also has another company called captain clampit ltd:T

People do not say ignore any more (and Simon Renshaw-Smith hasn't been 'Captain Clampit' for years!).

You need to read current threads not old ones about ignoring this. The registered keeper needs to appeal in writing - or email if allowed - but NOT implying who was driving. Here's an example of a post I made about challenging an Excel fake PCN and prising a POPLA code out of them (blood...stone!!). But word it in your own way making sure it is written in the third person 'the driver did enter the car registration and did buy a ticket so you need to make a check of your records'...

Don't know much about POPLA appeals procedure? Read any current threads around yours! Let us know when you've forced a POPLA appeal code out of the scumbags and in the meantime read plenty of other threads about any PPC (not just Excel).
