Help getting a t-mobile upgrade

Me and my girlfriend have 2 lines on the same account on t-mobile! Our upgrade is not until the end of next month, however we were wondering if we phoned them and said we've been offered the n95 on o2 for free at cpw whether they would upgrade us a month early (month 16)
Surely they would benefit more as they'll get us for another 18 months, as opposed to us definitely cancelling because we have new phones/tariffs so have no use for it.
