Calling my girlfriend while she's away...

Right, so my girlfriend has gone to Majorca for a week with a couple of girls she works with. I'm on Three, she's on EE - am I going to pay through the nose if I call/text her while she's away?
I know she'll have to pay a lot for calls or texts back to the UK, but it seems to be a bit of a grey area as to whether I would have to. I've read some conflicting stuff that says as long as the call is to a UK number, it'll come out of my monthly allowance, even if the UK number is abroad. I've also read some stuff that says there will be some hefty charges for calling/texting.
Anyone got any definitive answers? I don't mind paying, but I'll limit the texting and stuff if it's gonna cost mega money.

If you text it comes out of your allowance
If you call her she has to pay for the call
If you have I phone or android download viber and if she is in a wifi area then talk and message for free
Edited to say you both need viber and both be on wifi for it to be free but it does work.
What's App is another messaging service that's free on wifi if y ou both have it.
I message also is free if you both have it and are both on wifi.Living the dream and retired in Cyprus :j

Is she on EE4G or Orange or T-Mobile ? As EE 4G customers get a better deal.
You will be charged as normal, she will be charged roaming rates.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

It won't cost you anything more than it would to call/text in the UK. Or within your inclusive allowance if applicable. Texts are free for her to receive, but she'll pay roaming charges to call you or receive your calls.
If she has free local wi-fi access you can both use WhatsApp to text FOC.No free lunch, and no free laptop
