I have used
http://www.cartakeback.com/ twice .
Its easy , they do all the paperwork , they arrive at a time that suits you
They give you a price up front and stick to it
Cheers - this is the only other comparsion site I've used and it comes out only a tenner more than scrap so I'd defo not be using them.0 -

And that is of course your choice .
I was only giving you as easy option .
I hope the buyer of your wreak does not give you the run around , no messing up the paperwork and it all goes well0 -

Wasnt trying to come across as truculent - what I meant was that (given the choice of a tenner) I'd rather sell to the scrappy. Local business, local economy etc and none of the cons you rightly state.0 -

Sorry it 'defiantly' won't .......... your link does not work and as a 'newbie' you in fact can't post links .0 -

Cartakeback (I think) are scrap merchants, certainly they were happy to collect a couple of old non runners from me recently. I got £240 for the pair.
Local scrap yard was £10 or £20 less and I'd have had to deliver, they would collect but if they did the price dropped to £40 a car
Cartakeback came up from London (50 miles away), arrived as arranged and paid on the spot.
If yours is a runner with MOT then you'd probably do better on Ebay but it can be hassle0 -

Also called up a local scappy. They are offering £110 a T.
The 206 looks to be around 1.1T - hence a paltry £121 this route.
That makes 'webuyanycar' 'quote' of £225 the leader so far.
You should also get about £30 on top for the cat. Ring the scrappy to confirm this.
Other option is to put it in your local car auction.0 -

I've always got at least 150% of the scrap price by selling on eBay as spares or repair0

I;ve sold 2 cars which failed their MOTs dramatically on ebay - w golf for 402 and mondeo for 220, I copied out all the, many, points they failed the mot on in ebay the listing.
In ebay there is an advanced search setting where you can include completed sales, it will help you gather info quicker than watching live sales...0
