EasyJet help

Hi.

I need some help with EasyJet, as they are being very difficult and we have been trying to claim since last year.

Basically, husband and I were delayed around 24 hours in 2010. We contacted EasyJet to make a claim and they refused because they apparently have a 2 year window in which you can make claims, and this had passed.

We contacted the Spanish aviation authority people, as advised, and they sent us letters stating that we are entitled to 250 euros each because the reason for delay was NOT extraordinary circumstances. They said they would be sending a copy of the letter to EasyJet.

After weeks of emailing to EasyJet and getting no response, I received an email today stating that they would not pay us compensation because according to their records the delay WAS due to extraordinary circumstances!

I know this is just EasyJet trying to get out of paying, as I have looked at the list of extraordinary circumstances, and none of those things apply to our flight, which we were told was delayed due to lack of cabin crew.
It's also interesting (but not very surprising) that they seem to have changed their reason for not paying out.

Anyway, really hope you guys can give me some advice and tell me what I should do next!
