Not sure if i have virus can anyone help

I think I have a virus it takes ages to type anything about 5 secs per letter and pc gone quite slow can anyone help me find out. just taken approx. 5 mins to type this:eek:

I am at work now so will do the above when I get home tonight. I have Dell PC now sure what model its about 3 years old, it has windows 7 installed on it and my security is avast. thanks

Download DDS from the link below and save it to your desktop:

• Double click DDS to run it.
• Click Start
• When it's finished, DDS will open two logs:

2. Attach.txt

Save both reports to your desktop.

Initially it's not necessary to do a full scan. The quick scan will find anything that the program is capable of detecting already running in memory, or capable of entering memory on reboot (autostarting).

Running both isn't recommended, so uninstall one or the other.

tried to uninstall avg but don't think I have! I couldn't find
mesh runtime and messenger companion. my pc is definitely running better and I can type normally and not 1 letter per minute so something has happened thanks. log below

Run the AVG remover.

Be sure to save the file first to a location you can find it (Eg. Your desktop). Then right click the file and choose "Run as Administrator"
