Need a logo designed- cheap but quality

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of starting my own company, and have a good idea for what I want for the logo; but I'm not very artisitic and think it would be more professional if I got somebody to do it. Does anybody have any recommendations for people or other ways to get my logo?

Thanks,

RFJ.

I know somebody that would do a good job.

I found them on eBay first and then they did some work for me and some more and maybe even some more.

Please note it is NOT me that does that work so I can only pass you there details.

And if you like I will send you their email address? Let me know.

Hi, that'd be great; I've PM'd you so if you could send it over when you have the time that'd be much appreciated.

    Thanks again.
  • Ok I see now, when the email is back on I'll send it over.
  • Removed my site link again. Only trying to help! Why do I bother?

I've used XHeader.com for the past three years for headers, banners, timeline covers, logos, Google +1 pages... and the best thing about it is that, you get 500 free templates in return for your name and email address. You can create your own size and upload your own images with text using their easy to use platform.

Just use wordart in microsoft word, that will look pretty cool.

No but seriously, I notice a lot of websites particularly clothing shops tend to go for a simple black word on white background. This seems to be the current trend and it is quite easy to do and looks quite stylish too. Although I should imagine if you want something more memorable that wouldn't really do.

Have you tried websites like peopleperhour? You can post this as a job and then people will bid to work on it and you can choose who you think you want to do it based on viewing their past work. Might be a place to look for something without paying through the teeth for a professional design company.
  • If your quite creative, download Adobe illustrator CC. You get a free 1 month trial on it, in this time i created my website, business cards and flyers etc. They are not as good as a professional obviously but they got me up and running.

I don't think word art really cuts it!

    Second option seems better :D
