    Quality is difficult to define as what is acceptable for one person may not be for another. I'm a fan of the Cameralabs review site as I feel they give a more real world view of the camera whereas others, while thorough can tend to get bogged down in specs and studio images which can make it difficult to get a good impression of the camera. This is their review of the Canon here:

    You can also search for this model name on Flickr which may bring back images taken by the camera to get an idea what it is capable of.

    Another one to consider could be this Fujifilm one...

    Don't forget when you're working out what a camera will cost that you need to add in a memory card, and ideally a spare battery, plus possibly some sort of case for it.
    Never used one of those, but have had a Fuji bridge camera for 5 years and am very pleased with it.
