It will have to resynch at the exchange each time.
More to the point, what would you gain by doing so-a fractional reduction in your electricity bill?No free lunch, and no free laptop

Gain would be no annoying lights as modem is in bedroom and no extra heat from the modem .
Currently reading 40c on top of modem thats about 15c heat output over room temp .
ADSL modem off every night and made no difference .0 -
Yeah they do get a bit hot these Openreach fibre modems, plenty have overheated so make sure they have lots of ventilation.
I can help with the LEDs, if you're good with IP addresses. You can remove tape from the second LAN port and plug a computer in, using a special IP address you can log into it just like you do with a router. IIRC, there's an option to turn off the LEDs. I'm sure a net search will find you the details...0 -

Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -

Melts and due to the air vents it would require 90% of the box to be taped .
