There's a big difference between claiming for costs incurred with an injury and 'compo'.

It sounded to me like the OP wasn't sure if something like a sore neck would be taken into consideration or if it was only very serious or long term things that were worthy of note.

I read it as 'is this worth mentioning now'....I didn't read it as 'I want compo'. I think those that did were too quick off the mark to accuse, tbh.

Ignoring all the 'Compo' shouts, get yourself to the docs, back around 1988, a serving police officer friend of mine had an accident off duty (rear ended at lights). He was a fit bloke and put the sore neck down to experience stating that he had had worse playing rugby - 3 months later he was pensioned off due the injury and damage to his neck, and because he hadn't put it down on the original claim, or visited the docs, he had no comeback via insurance etc.

[As an aside, how does the word compensation get abreviated to 'compo' in the first place? There is no second 'o'...

This is Compo as far as I'm concerned!

Thank you. I just wasn't sure if I had to tell them now that the pain was getting worse or not. I mean, it's not unbearable pain but I still think I should let my GP know or take note of it.

Get a claim for whiplash in - it paid for a better car and a holiday for me!
It was pretty bad though, couldn't move my neck for days. Good job I had a small TV.
