From a quick google it seems that "its from a film back in the day with richard prior in called see no evil hear no evil."

Not sure it's a nickname that I'd be massively keen on!

I still maintain Ditzy and I wouldn't give it any credence, once you assign power to it then it works against you. If you give it nothing it will fade away

A "fuzzy wuzzy" is a disrespectful term for a person with black skin, generally an indigenous African. It comes from old colonial days and is not a nice description. Cpl Jones in "Dad's Army" did use it in this context in the days of non-pc TV, but it wasn't used abusively in that instance - more to flag-up that character's daft, buffoon-ish mannerisms.

    Hope this helps, OP. x

Yes. And unpleasantly so. Sounds harmless - but is anything but. Sorry if you've encountered this in a derogative context OP. :(

He's said it for a few months and never thought anything of it. :/ Is there any other context and is there a website where I can prove its racist x

Talk to your manager, they're probably not completely ignorant of this guy's oddities, and he may have form on this front. If he is your manager, talk to his manager, or HR. Be upfront and ask what you should do, because you feel he is trying to set people against you. Also, get a diary together with a list of events, dates, times and witnesses. I doubt any manager will believe his 'you touched his bum' story, especially if you give the background you've given here.

Also bear in mind your colleagues probably think he's a total w****r anyway. Only a total onanist would call anyone a 'fuzzy wuzzy' with its massively offensive racial overtones whether you're black, asian, caucasian, blue or stripey it is clearly meant to intimidate and belittle.

The manager should take this very seriously indeed - at best it is workplace bullying.
