RIP Radio Downloader

Thanks to some kind posters here, I used to use a wonderful piece of software called Radio Downloader. It enabled me to save any radio programme from the BBC website as an MP3 file, so that I could listen to it later on an Ipod, perhaps a long way from an internet connection. Sweet.

Anyway, the BBC has now blocked it and I understand have ordered that the website that used to host it (Nerds of the Herd) be taken down. There was a discussion about this on Radio 4's 'Feedback' yesterday afternoon. All very sad, although I can understand that the law about intellectual property and copyright meant that the BBC was forced to take action.
