EE customer requirement PAYG ok?

I'm interested in the EE deals that are knocking around. If one is a current customer there is a further discount of £5. What are the specific criteria? Is a PAYG SIM with minimum balance to keep the account live OK?

Can anyone recommend a SIM in that case? Whether EE, T-Mobile or Orange?

Kind regards,

Hi - I took this out before the merger when I joined Orange.

The deal was to have an Orange PAYG which you had to credit with a min of £10 every 6 months.

I've a T-Mobile PAYG sim which has less than a tenner on it at any given time and get the £5 pm discount from EE.
