Nelson McCausland must be the biggest waste of space in politics although there are a few of his fellow party members not far behind. Robinson is not a leader, he (I have just deleted what he is).
The silent majority need to become vociferous and condemn the actions of factions within the OO, all of the DUP and the dissidents who are equally trashing this country.

Correct me if I'm wrong (it doesn't happen often ;)) but was it not Robbo who stirred up the Fleg issue and who has recently stirred up more hatred asking for demonstrations for the parades that were blocked?

I used to support the DUP but in recent years, seeing how they would sell their grannies for a quick buck, it makes me ashamed to say that I have previously voted for them but will never do so again. Show me one that has a clear conscience.

The DUP have a lot to answer for and until people start voting with their feet, they will continue to work for themselves and not for the people who voted for them.

It's blindingly obvious that the DUP stirred up the trouble around the parade in order to move the focus away from McCausland and Red Sky. Unfortunately, the majority of the working/lower-class Protestant community are too thick to cotton on to this.

Arlene Foster prances around about creating a few jobs, yes sure the problem is she buys the with millions of Invest NI money. and when it's spent the jobs disappear to Europe.

Plus no-one ever bothers to ask the question about how many of the jobs that are being created are actually being filled by local people. For the vast majority of IT jobs being created now, there aren't enough skilled employees locally to fill them, so people are being imported from the EU or India. Plus, for example, any time the likes of Concentrix creates new jobs, the majority of those won't be filled by people from N.I., since we just don't have the language skills needed.

No axe to grind either way but I cant help thinking of those young men and women going to appear in court over the next few months on various charges connected to the rioting.
Some of them may think in a few years time the best future for them would be to emigrate to another country only for the criminal record they are about to receive coming back to haunt them. Not easy when tensions are high I know but if only these young people would take a step back (literally) and realise the damage they are doing to their own futures in following blindly these barstool generals who are always willing to fight to the last drop of everyone elses blood.

After the last few days I wish quite a lot of them would emigrate to tell you the truth. Disgraceful behaviour.

A few of the girls have been discussing this today and one raised a very good point. During the G8, would this kind of behaviour have been tolerated? Would the police have allowed the top world leaders to sit in their hotel and let the rioters carry on regardless? Would they hell as like. So why I ask are these 'protesters' aka thugs allowed to continue destroying this country instead of being rounded up and put on the naughty step :p

Some day the working class will see DUP for what they are and that is ... well I'd rather not get banned from here so I imagine you can fill in the blanks.

I suspect fear of escalation of violence but how much longer will the authorities allow these thugs (on both sides)to hold the country to ransome? I have it from a good source that there are health and safety reasons why the police won't take on the rioters, just stay behind their vehicles and shields. Maybe the reinforcements need to be brought in from other European countries who would take no prisoners!

No axe to grind either way myself, but I have no sympathy for those young people involved in the rioting. If they get arrested and taken to court, it serves them right. If they end up with a criminal record, so be it, they should have thought about that sooner.
