Dear All
Just had Lloyds upheld my claim after being rejected in 2012, didn't go to the FOS as I just supplied new info, well just a letter to the PPI Team.
Two weeks late I rang to find out the outcome and they have upheld and said it is now with the calculation department.
Does anyone know how long this takes? Thanks:j

About 2 weeks to 6 months typically.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

I would have said no more than 4 weeks, unless you slip through the cracks which is unlikely.
2 weeks would be a fairer estimate these days and as you get 8% added I'd be hoping it is the 4 weeks, or rather the 6 months already mentioned

Hi
Glad you've been successful:beer: just filled in my forms and returned them last monday -was wondering how long they took to decide whether to pay up or not.
Hope you don't mind me asking
Thanks

Hi dinky
my original complaint was rejected last year. The case was re=opened and was successful.
aug 12 - rejected
june13- re-opened
july 2nd- letter to say complaint uphold awaiting calculation
july 22nd - offer of £6600 to be paid by cheque
jluy 30th - payment made to my Lloyds account.
if anyone gets rejected, appeal without going to FOS and you will win.
ps: you must say when taking out any policies that you had savings to cover you if you was out of a job, that really help me as I used that in my complaint and won. good luck:rotfl:0 -

So did you ask for it to be paid to your a/c, or did they just tell you they would pay you by cheque, then just pay it into your a/c?0 -
the offer letter said payment will be made by cheque within 28 days, then bout 5 days later they had put it into my account which I did bank with them (lloyds)....:beer:0

Many thanks for your reply.Although when i took the loans out my employer at the time covered me for 6 months full pay, also included death benefits of over £25,000, i didn't have any savings and this was what i put on the forms from lloydtsb.
Hopefully my honesty pays off

I had to get the FOS involved and I recieved the letter on Monday this week 5/8, saying they had upheld my claim, and Lloyds would be in touch telling me how much I'm owed. Also says to give them 12 weeks to do this, hopefully my timescale will be much closer to yours ajay. I no longer bank with them, so I guess I'll be getting paid via cheque.
I have absolutely no idea, how much I'm entiltled to, so looking forward to my surprise :T0
