Flight delay thomson

We flew to Mexico on 14/05/2013 from Newcastle we had to land at Manchester to take on more fuel. We were told this would take approx. 40 mins. After sitting on the plane on Manchester airports runway for over 2 hours we eventually took off, there had been problems with the toilets and we had wait until they were fixed before we could commence our flight. We should have arrived in Cancun at 14.15 local time it was in fact 17.00 when we disembarked. I did email Thomson within a couple of days of arriving back but have heard nothing and was wondering if you could enlighten me on my rights to compensation. Thanks
