netgear and the wii

what am i doing wrong i'm trying to connect the wii to my wireless network it finds the ssid when i allow it to broadcast but when sitting for ages with a real steady hand:cool: :rotfl: keying in the wpa on the wii it then comes up with error code 51330
i have a netgear dg 834g v3 router if that helps

turn off the wpa/wep? security on the router for a sec, see if connects, then add it back and type the key carefully

sorted albertross:beer: i disabled the wpa then the wii connected i let it do the updates then put the wpa key back on which i then knew it would not let me connect once i put the no. back on.... but went thru the process of installing wpa key to wii settings and hey presto!!! it worked it must have just needed updates:o

Do you have the numlock or capslock on when typing passwords? do you mean username not recognised, or password?
