Upgrading on Vodafone

I'm coming to the end of my first pay monthly sim only contract and I'm now eligible for an upgrade. I'm thinking of upgrading to a phone contract but the offers on Vodafone are a bit rubbish for the phone I want, is there any chance of getting a better deal if I ring them up or are the upgrade deals set in stone. My contract comes to an end in a couple of months.
Thanks for any help given.

you prob wont get any great deals as your only sim only customer but it wont hurt to ask
u dont have to go direct through voda try a third party like p4u and look at their deals it will still be an upgrade and u wont have to change your numberWhat goes around-comes around0 -
Thanks for that.0

it also depends which phone you are after.
iPhones are generally fixed in price, other phones might have more leeway
You could try the vodafone deals twitter, they can usually offer good deals. How to contact them is on the vodafone site0 -
Vodafone Retention Deals
I think you can get a better deal as a new customer via a third party and quidco/TCB, possibly with another network. Loyalty costs nothing nowadays.0 -
You married Vodafone, now dont rip up your prenuptial just before you divorce, when problems arise with Voda and you got a free phone expect to go through hell with any issue as they subsidised that free phone, sim only and even with network issues proven Voda after a fight will let you leave, if you have a handset you fair better with a pitbull.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe
