I replied to this thread earlier and now it's gone. I'm new to this. Can't see how to post a new thread either.0

recieved 2 letters since my previous post, making this number 11 i believe, this one is saying last chance offer of the reduced rate of £79.99 as opposed to £150, after the period of 7 days they say they will pass the case onto zenith collections legal dept to recover the amount, which i guess means court?
I'm still concerned about this issue and want further reassurance of not to pay it!
However, if i do not pay and am taken to court or they try to take my car etc, how should i commence then? never doing anything like this before i wont know what route to go down as i know costs for this type of thing will far outweigh the cost of the initial fine!...0 -
They won't take your car for Heaven's sake.
Zenith Collections? Just think of Zenith double glazing - you won't catch a cold with either.
Parking Eye, who don't muck about, don't waste time on 11 letters - they get on with it. If this mob were serious, so would they.0 -

Zenith have a 'legal dept' LOL!
You guess wrong. In fact that's Sharon passing the file to Tracey on the next desk, haven't you yet just Google searched those company names and found they are the same firm?!

:rotfl:
Letters shown here (and on lots of other links on post #3 as well) to cases where people are chuckling at all the junk mail DRP aka Zenith always send:

Read all the links on post #3 as well. Have a laugh about this, you actually thought Zenith meant business when it is just a different letter-heading!However, if i do not pay and am taken to court or they try to take my car etc, how should i commence then? never doing anything like this before i wont know what route to go down as i know costs for this type of thing will far outweigh the cost of the initial fine!...
It was never a fine.
MET almost never do court and in any case that does go to court, small claims costs are just that = small, typically the PCN amount plus maybe £50 court fees perhaps, only if the person actually loses the hearing!
And clamping/towing/removing a car is ILLEGAL by private firms, has been for almost a year!
MET were on Watchdog, their fake PCNs are famously laughed at:

The only difference now is that the registered keeper as well as the driver can both ignore them together (used to be fun reserved for drivers only, as the Watchdog solicitor mentions in that clip, but now it's registered keepers too)!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So let's say as a conservative estimate it costs them around £7 a letter in stationary, postage and labour ( remember banks claim letters cost £20 ) - that's £77 to collect £80 !!!! Add in the DVLA charge of £2.50 and they make 50p profit - scam, scam, scam !!!!0
