£24 off if you pay 12 months in advance.
Also can save (a little) and take line rental alone (instead of current plan which includes evening and weekend calls)
They are stopping charging for caller id.
All from September 2

Given that they will be moving to a new call/landlineand broadband supplier see https://www.postoffice.co.uk/betterthanever
I wonder if 18185 access will still be available, and whether their will still not be a yearly contract for landline like other suppliers.0 -
Where in the uk?
Thought bt took over decades ago!0 -
Their broadband seems a bit pricey, especially given the min. 12 month commitment (and a 5gb/mth allowance in this day and age is a joke).0

The new ts + cs say no contract for the landline:

If you are a Post Office HomePhone only customer there is no minimum term

Bad news
Now discovered they will be moving to talk talk, and don't think they let you use 18185 etc idirectly, and have to use their freephone access number and pay 1p/min.0 -
More bad news - Capita are to 'take care' of their CS.The UK's Post Office has dropped BT as the network services provider for its home phone and broadband services. Instead, it has signed a five-year contract with IT services provider Fujistu, which will act as service integrator to a number of subcontractors. TalkTalk will provide the network infrastructure itself; Capita will provide customer services, and specialist services provider MDS will support customer billing. -0

Yes in UK they don't provide a phone service outside the UK do they, and BT have clearly lost the contract.
" At the Post Office® we want to be sure we offer customers our best service at our best possible price, so we’re always looking for ways to improve. Starting from September we’ll be moving to a new broadband and phone network so that we can offer you an improved broadband service and more flexible options for your HomePhone."0 -
What happens if you have Post Office Homephone and Broadband from another supplier?
When this talk talk switch occurs are you going to lose your broadband? You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0
