So it seems that Ted Baker dresses can only be used and cleaned once.
Needless to say I wont be buying any of their products again.
In fairnessgr I always think twice about buying anything with this sort of decoration as I consider the problems you've had to be a major issue with them.
I'm just wondering if the cape / cape hook has aggravated the situation?2014 Target;

Now may be the time to go to your credit card provider for a refund, or send a letter before action to ted baker. They cannot insist that you pay for the repair. The goods are less than six months old so unless the seller can prove otherwise are assumed to be faulty from purchase, which is consistent with it falling apart on first wear.
You have given them reasonable opportunity to repair it for you at their cost and they have failed so you can take it to the next level.0 -
That's a rather pathetic response from Ted Baker.
At the very least I would want THEM to repair it, or pay for somone else to repair it.
I think I'd take this further. Get a letter from the dry cleaner stating the beads/sequins had already fallen off when they received it (I'm sure they won't mind doing this, given they don't want it to appear their fault!) Then send a copy of this to Ted Baker demanding a refund.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Agree with the above, you could also try small claims court if you didn't pay on a credit card.0

It's so that we agree on the condition of the item. If anything occurs during the dry cleaning process we would both know.
I can't believe the beads were coming off before dry cleaning but the dry cleaners didn't comment on this. I think you and the dry cleaners have been negligent in failing to assess the item before the dry cleaning process.
So because you have a process at your dry cleaners, everyone other dry cleaners in the country must be exactly the same?
What difference do you think it would have made if they had checked it over? It's not the dry cleaners that OP has the issue with.0 -

May have made a difference since Ted Baker are trying to use the fact its been cleaned to absolve them of liability.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
