I have a Henry hoover. It was used for DIY stuff over the years and has sooked up more than it's fair share of sawdust and plaster dust amongst other things. I took it to bits (literally unscrewed every screw I could see) and washed it all in the sink but after putting it all together again, it smells worse than ever. It…

As the hose is suspect, take it off and leave it outside overnight, leaving Henry in the kitchen again... If it smells in the morning in the kitchen they you know it isn't the hose and vice-versa
