DD has about 80 euros left on her card. Can she simply go to cash point here to remove the money or does she have to do it instore via Tesco and accept their buy back rate?

Can go to the Cash Point, but there will be a 5.75% conversion charge.
Did you suggest to her to purchase a EURO card?? If so, you should make up the nearly 5€ she will lose.
Then of course, how much will she withdraw in Pounds? £60...then she can try to spend what is left in a shop.
Is their buyback rate a better option now?0 -

I did tell her to withdraw the lot before coming home as I had a friend who would make use of the euros!NiftyDigits wrote:Then of course, how much will she withdraw in Pounds? £60...then she can try to spend what is left in a shop.

The card is valid for 5 years so I might just tell her to keep it!
