How much is it in Costco please?
£48.99 + VAT for the WV60 - so includes the narrow blade and some washing solution and the leaky spray bottle. It may not be very good VFM, but it was next to the vacuum cleaner we were buying and someone saw me looking at it and said they would really recommend it as it made cleaning windows fun. I wouldn't go quite that far, but it made cleaning windows not as completely knackering as doing it the old fashioned way would.

And I wouldn't have got round to price checking and ordering online, I'm afraid. Sometimes that kind of stuff just has to be bought while it's in front of your nose.

I bought one, have to admit I thought it was a gimmick but it does work. I love it. Our house is quite big so I can do half the windows then put it on a charge and go do something else until it charges again. I was able to do the MIL house windows all on one charge as her house is considerably smaller. I have found it left no streaks, I use the spray bottle that came with it and just put some fairy liquid into the water and its fine. I do need to go round the frames with a dry cloth though as it does not go tight into the edges. Another thing I found with it was when coming down to the lower part of the window at the sill it is a bit tricky, but perhaps this is just me lol

It can be tricky but if you stop short before the sills and turn the Karcher and go across from left to right or visa versa it should do the trick.

Does anyone know if these can be used on Caravans, windows and the outside?

    I can't see why not ...

And the long pole is available separately and is also supposed to fit the WV50 and WV60, I'm tempted as my windows are currently only clean as high as I can reach :o, has anyone tried one of those?
:money: I have just saved myself over £20 (price of an extending handle) ... I spotted an extendable pole with a cleaning pad and squeegee for £4.95 in a charity shop, they had several new ones, so I've bought one of them. I'm going to use that to clean high up and squeegee the water down until I can vacuum it up. I can't help feeling it will be easier to do that than wave the vacuum bit around at a great height. Will let you know how it goes.

  • Amazon have them at moment for £39.94.
  • And from 24th July Makro will have them for £32.99 + VAT which works out as 60p more than Curry's

  • Oh dear Sue, that doesn't sound too clever what's happened?

Hubbie used mine on my kitchen floor tiles, they've never looked so clean!
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)
