If the sun shines through your windows you will see streaks
You shouldn't. It's 100% streak free if used correctly!
I have large 12ft windows, and when the sun shines its totally streak free! (They don't stay clean for long with child's hand prints appearing quite quickly after cleaning! But quickly removed again with a quick splash of water, and a swipe!) easy as that!
If your getting streaks, clean the blade or get a replacement blade.0 -

Yes. Makro had a loss leader deal at £29.99 plus vat. (£35.99 inc vat) but had very little stock. Currys had billions of them, ok, maybe a slight exaggeration... But were stocked. Although at the price stock has disappeared.
Buy while you can. You get a years warranty out of the box... But as you will use this daily... I'd contemplate the extended 3 year warranty offered by Currys. It's very cheap and if this unit breaks, take it back for instant replacement. Even if you drop it. Like I did. But didn't have the warranty. I do now.0 -
The WV60. I did (spend the extra), but then mine was free using TopCashBack vouchers.moneymatter wrote: »For anyone that has already got one in your opinion is it worth paying £11 more on Amazon they have one at £51.00 for the one that also comes with the smaller blade and Spray bottle with micro-fibre cleaning cloth. I don't intend to use the solution made for it like others would just use washing up liquid or such like.
There is a WV70 which comes with a long pole to get the top windows of houses done too.
I haven't used the small blade yet but I know when winter comes, there is one window (single pane) which is constantly wet. It'll be very useful then.
I haven't used the solution.
I also get a few streaks, but a quick going over with a duster gets rid of them, which I could do near on straight away.
I haven't used it as much as I thought but the ease of use makes the job so much quicker and certainly not a chore any more. The novelty may wear off soon but until then.... plus, I like nice clean windows.0 -
NO! Maybe I have a faulty spray bottle, but I bought the WV60 in CostCo at the weekend, and the bottle seems to leak / drip everywhere.moneymatter wrote: »For anyone that has already got one in your opinion is it worth paying £11 more on Amazon they have one at £51.00 for the one that also comes with the smaller blade and Spray bottle with micro-fibre cleaning cloth. And the long pole is available separately and is also supposed to fit the WV50 and WV60, I'm tempted as my windows are currently only clean as high as I can reachanotheruser wrote: »There is a WV70 which comes with a long pole to get the top windows of houses done too.
, has anyone tried one of those? Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I'm surprised to read so many unhappy people with this. it's my fave gadget I've bought this year! I got the bottle with a sample of the solution and that's the only downside to me. I've found that just washing the window with a sponge and a little soapy (fairy washing up liquid in) water and then using the Karcher to vac off the water works best for me. No streaks, no trouble, and no £9 a bottle solution (although it does go a long way).0

My sentiments exactly. I use a weak solution of washing up liquid and a sponge to slosh and wash over the windows and just hoover it all off with the Karcher. Easy peasy, as they say.0

I wish I'd known that CostCo sold this as I would have got it from there. Perhaps someone else will benefit from that information. I should have checked, I know!
I took a deep breath and bought the bottle, despite the cost. It doesn't leak very much and I think I get soapy hands as I am soaping the window. But they are sitting in the kitchen at present and I am doing the odd window etc when I get a minute. I know I wouldn't if I had to get out a bucket and sponge, even though it is more mse.
I am absolutely delighted with this purchase -- I used to hate cleaning windows!
Would also be glad to know if the long pole is any good.0 -
I posted I get streaks, but must admit I press the blade against the glass quite hard - so the suggestion above might solve it for me. I'll give it a try and report back

Thanks for the suggestions ......0 -
How much is it in Costco please?0
