    Hi all.
Nasty brainfog today (probably the result of a sleepless night due to pain) so doing my replies on a word.doc, to make sure I don't make more of an idiot of myself than strictly necessary.:o

Bitsy healing vibes for Luna – did she get a grass seed in her ear perhaps? Those cause all sorts of problems with ears, specially “flapped-over” ears.

Meanmarie happy belated anniversarie you our and Mr MM – wow, 43 years!
Dumpling hope the psych appointment went well.:o

Tru I hadn't realised frogs could scream! I've been told off good'n'proper by a hedgehog before, but never by a frog!:D
All this talk of frogs/toads reminds me of my dear old Dad - we were staying at his house and he thought the dog had left him a 'present' by the front door. When he got kitchen roll to pick it up, the pile of pooh jumped away squeaking!!
Camelot, I just sprayed coffee on the netbook!:rotfl: When I first moved here, the grass in the back garden was over 2 feet high; we started cutting, but had to suspend operations when we found a whole family of frogs living in it – I wouldn't let Mr LW continue mowing til I was satisfied they were all safely evicted.:o

Sunday will be exactly four years since I signed up with the dog-sitting service; I've had so many lovely canine friends to stay.:o My Black Lab pal Jessie will be here to celebrate with us - she's due to arrive at 18:00 this evening, staying til midday on Monday.:T
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Hi all,

Treated myself to an early finish today :j:j

Had a nightmare yesterday, spent all day doing a massive spreadsheet, computer went phutt... And even though i,d been saving along the way, its bl@@dy disappeared, so have had to re-do it all today - bring back paper and pencils I say:mad:

Love the frog/toad comments, Eric and Ernie, our 2 feline terrorists love to bring frogs into the house to play - the frogs always win, and OH usually has to rescue them, and rinse them under the garden tap, as they are normally covered in fluff - the grusome twosome have been told no frogs/toads/slowworms not any bird smaller than a pidgeon - they just flounced off and had a wee on the graves of our 3 cats and 1 dog - youth of today, no respect!:rotfl:

Eating leftovers tonight, cant be ar@ed to cook:D

Have a fab evening all x

    Good afternoon everybody,

So..I didn't manage my planned no spend day but I spent very little.
2 packs of Walls sausages @55p each (reduced) - how can they justify the original price which was £2.49 for just 8 sausages?!
1 pack of those warburton sandwich pittas reduced to 19p
a carton of natural yogurt @45p - this is what I actually went in for. I've been told natural yogurt and pineapple should be good for my throat :S

Slightly annoying as I wanted NSDs grocery wise today, tomorrow and Monday but it was a little spend and on stuff I will use up for sure so really not too bad.

Throat is still sore but nowhere near as bad as yesterday and with the sun out I think I will bash some washing through the machine and get it outside to dry for an hour or so tonight once I'm back from work :)

Test results for my throat came back 'abnormal as expected - infected' but apparently I am now on the correct antibiotics - only 2 days worth left so I hope they've done their job!

Not sure why I feel different with bf being away this week, he's flown over to Switzerland today and I should here from him tonight at some point. I seem to really be feeling lonely this week which is silly. It's no longer than he's ever been away before but for some reason I am left feeling lonely and unloved this week which is totally absurd!
I think for him the novelty of being apart is wearing off so he is not so fussed to keep messaging me and checking I'm ok where as for me it seems to be going the opposite way. I trust him completely but it's also like my head is trying to convince me I shouldn't and I should get in touch. It's crazy I'm sure he's fine and just settling in to the hotel/Switzerland! bah. darn my stupid heart and mind!

I had a fairly hideous day at work today.

As I only work on Thursdays and Fridays, it was my first day in this week.

I have no chance to catch up with what may or may not have happened while I've not been in the office, no chance to catch up with emails, I just have to get stuck in as soon as I arrive, and slog until 4.30 ( I get 30 mins lunch, which I do try and take) Even though I'm slogging all day I still can't get done everything that should be done and it was even worse today as I had to go to two meeting, which took up two valuable hours.

I have told the manager about how I'm feeling, and she tells me not to worry, do what I can etc, but I don't want to leave things not done, as my job share partner will have to do it next week.

I really feel like weeping, but experience shows it doesn't make it any better!

My DH and I have now set a target date for us to leave work which is April 2016. He'll be 65 in the October of 2016, so we'd have six months on the pensions we have now, before the rest of his pensions kick in. We'd be on short money for six months, but that would be manageable.

In theory we could leave now, but the extra money we are currently earning really will help for the future. I just need to get on with it, it is for the best.

Sorry to ramble a bit, I just needed to vent!

I'll be better tomorrow, as the working week will be over

Evening all, late one from me.
Busy day, food shopping, cake decorating and sports day.
It's DD's 5th birthday today and she won a race at sports day so was really pleased for her :D
Having a late supper of pizza before kids get put to bed.
Absolutely no OS at the moment, just been too busy :o

LW Vet thinks it could be a grass seed, she has an ear cleaner and then drops so she will be right as rain in no time :)

Hugs and spoons all round, sorry pizza is ready so got to dash x
