Morning :hello:

I was screamed at yesterday – by a frog :D I lifted a pot to move it, he hopped out from underneath and squealed, hopped a couple more times, squealed again and disappeared under another pot :D I looked it up, it was probably a warning. While googling, I came across THIS cute little thing :D

Mr tru has started bartering. I just need to teach him how to do it usefully. He likes to go to the local takeaway and swap eggs for kebabs :D

The garden didn't get watered last night so I'll do that in a mo. Mr tru likes to do it usually (which suits me because I don't want to be out there in this heat) but our neighbour was out the front cutting his hedge when mr tru went to put the bin out. They started chatting, mr tru came in, grab some beers and went back out. They spent ages drinking and gossiping over the fence. J's wife went to call him for something then said "oh sorry, didn't realise you were on a date" and disappeared back inside, lol.

Morning All

Tru - Not sure you could call it cute! I think all the frogs must be trying to keep in the shade.
BB - Good news re your DNeice!
JackieO - Enjoy your new living room.

Hope everyone is surviving this warm weather - yes even Scotland is scorching! Went for another bike ride yesterday but DD has to go to work today so may have a rest day, need to do some housework anyway. Managed to clean the bathrooms yesterday but that was about my limit - had to be at work at 5 and I was melting. I must be the cleanest person about - I am having 3 or 4 showers a day at the moment!

Washing on the line and another load in, ironing done (did it this morning when it was relatively cool). Take care. XX

Morning all!
Like Camelot, I'm almost living in the shower, although the cat seems to think its the coolest place to sleep and I have to keep evicting her! We're not used to this hot weather and everything takes so much effort!
Am booked to go to London in November for a weekend and to see Billy Elliott, it's my friend's 70th birthday and both of us and her daughter are going so we have booked a serviced apartment rather than a hotel, a bit more :money:as we will cook if we can be bothered! These are the same friends am going to Turkey with, daughter informed me my passport will be a tattered mess by the end of the year, cheeky girl!!!
Right, off to hang out the washing, have a good day all!
RIP Iain

Well, I think they're cute :p

We have one in the greenhouse, I keep thinking he can't find his way out - it's sooo hot in there there's no way he'd choose this. So I put him outside and close the door, he always finds his way back :D

All this talk of frogs/toads reminds me of my dear old Dad - we were staying at his house and he thought the dog had left him a 'present' by the front door. When he got kitchen roll to pick it up, the pile of pooh jumped away squeaking!!
