flight cancelled got money back for flight from Ryanair but had to make our own way home with another airline and pay for a meal then get a taxi to airport to collect car can we claim any compensation for any of this. Ryanair blamed the cancellation on French airspace strike but all other flights were still flying this all happened on 12/6/2013.
Thanks

try posting on the Ryanair thread, normally if you choose to take a refund you are responsible for your own travel from there. If you had opted for Ryanair to reroute you they would have covered your meals etc whilst you waited.
Compensation depends on whether the delay was within the airlines control or not0
