Oh my god, really don't know how we are going to get through this week!!! We only have £47 for food and petrol (need £10 in the car) and that includes needing to get nappies and wet wipes too.

Really don't know how we will get through this week.

Have survived on slightly less in the past but it was when I was on maternity leave so did not have to get petrol too.

Any ideas from you lovely people?

PLEASE - Thank you for your time

have you got any vouchers, tesco club card stuff for nappies etc... Just caught up with this thread and needed to say - you are not selfish - you have gone on the same journey as the rest of us - you are just that little closer to finishing. Well done... Have you tried freecycle for a new hoover...

I survived on very little while I was on maternity leave. One final push and you will be there.... (when I am a little skint I use baby lotion and cotton wool) although a cheap pound shop might sell baby wipes cheap enough

Thanks sammy - unfortunatley we do not have any vouchers - we get tesco's own wet wipes which are about 79 pence. I know that we are really close, but it seems impossible this week. Next monday tax credits come in, and though I don't get paid till 24th we are starting our monthly money from then, but this too has the dangers of a 5 week month to consider.

Also I can't work out our PROPER budget till pay day on the 24th. so we will try to survive on almost nothing the week after.

Think things will be fine once we get past the next 2 weeks, but it is so hard till then.

I have to be honest and I am feeling quite down at the moment, what an emotional rollercoaster we are on.

Can I just say the amount you have paid off is bloody amazing! :T

Don't be so hard on yourself. You will be debt free. You have learnt your lessons even if it takes you a month or so longer to do it. :)
