I know that you said there was more than one thing, but usually when people itemise their problems they miss out the trivial, not the important ones.
If missing curtain rails is the most important, the rest must be really trivial.

Yes, they are strangely, it gets darks very late now and baby needs sleep for 7-8PM = curtains drawn, darkness lol0 -

A small baby that won't sleep because the room they are in isn't dark isn't actually very trivial.
I do think the OP should just put them up though.You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose.0 -

Oh come on, you can "black out" windows without putting up curtain rails.
all curtain rails do is make the solution look tidier, they aren't a pre-requisite to actually solving the problem

I personally think that ,obviously if you kick up a big enough fuss and generate a paper trail the landlord may decide to release from your tenancy subject to certain conditions (of their choosing)0
