help needed for samsung e370

right is there anyone out there who can help me please.
1st question. bluetooth,
i cant find any divces, i am activated and switched on, my phone say it is visable, but i cant access any other bluetooth device and they cant finde me either.
what is wrong its worked before i havent changed anything but i do have a new thing on my display see question 2.
2nd question i have a little blue g on my phone next to my bluetooth pic, what is how do i get shut of it.
i have only had this on a few days, but bluetooth has not worked since i got it.
any ideas i would be gratefull for

I think, though I'm not sure that in the bluetooth settings there's a safe mode or something sounding like that. I think this has to be set to 'off'. Try that. I used to have the same phone and am trying to remember.

The 'G' will indicate the GPRS signal, it's often on all the time - it's not costing you anything, it just means the service is there for WAP browsing/MMS etc. It'll only cost you to browse. Is this phone on o2?

Hi, have you tried turning it off and on again? sometimes that helps...
but the sounds of it, you are not doing anything wrong... if the on off again is not working, try just playing arround with it, and diffrent settings on the bluetooth bit..
might be a problem with the phone by the sounds of it though....

i have not fixed it i will have to go into orange.
