I hate the summer. Don't like the heat or the extra expense of day trips etc. Its just really uncomfortable. I'm a winter girl and love Oct -Dec time. Dark early, Halloween, Bonfire Night, Christmas etc. Love that time of year. I have hot flushes on top of my hot flushes at the moment. Would love some snow but hardly get it on the coast in Devon.

I won, I won, I won! I've been Money Tipped!
thank goodness i'm not the only one, it's way too hot to sleep and, i get bitten by anything that flies, and the scratching and lack of sleep just makes me grumpy! i have to cut the grass tomorrow and 2 hours mowing the lawn in this will be a nightmare, hubby's happy as he just fitted a solar panel so we have boiling hot water when all i want is a cold shower, typical!

Me too - I get prickly heat and it is awful! I used to work abroad so loved the sun but these past few years I have grown to hate it! I love the Autumn when we get those bright mornings with blue sky and it feels fresh and healthy!

I also hate bumble bees and wasps and midgets and seeing people out in socks and sandles. You see scabby backs, dimpled arms, and public transports sticks of sweat! The only thing I like about the sun is it dries my washing fast!

Are you sure it is midgets you hate and not midgies :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I love it. I hated it when I was fat and couldn't dress appropriately, but now I've lost weight and don't have to still cover up, I love it.

    And I wear Factor 50.
