I don't so much hate the sun as hate getting a sun tan. When my face tans it brings out the dark marks on my upper lip and I look like I have a full and luscious moustache...

My hayfever is driving me nuts and I have lost loads of sleep due to being too hot at night too! I just feel yuk! I much prefer crisp cool Autumnal mornings!

  • Bluebella how can you hate the Sun?! It makes the flowers grow & birds sing!! I love sitting in the sun relaxing in the garden but have to admit it can be horrible and exhausting when you've got things to do!...

But then again, so can rain, snow, gale force winds etc- it's got to be better than that!

I never sunbathe so most of my colour comes from walking around in it. You see some idiots who have allowed themselves to get burnt red raw! Looks awful and all I think is 'skin cancer!'

No the sun makes the flowers frazzle if they get to hot! They need rain! The poor birdies must feel hot too as they seem to hide in the trees! My dog hates the sun too - she hides in the shade!

I don't really like it when its unbearably hot. I don't know how some people can sit out in it for hours. I just become a pink sweaty mess YUK

I'm fine if its not too hot & humid and I've not got anything to do so can sit in the garden with a nice cold drink. But it can get so uncomfortable when there's stuff to do like shopping and work which is most days :(

Today I had to endure a hot sweaty 40 mins bus journey to work and am now sitting in work where its still too hot. More importantly and worst of all, the humidity make my hair frizzy :rotfl:

I'm off work from next week so if someone could turn down the temperature just a little that would be great for me :D
Wine is made to be drunk, I am drunk, therefore am I wine?
