Has this happened to anyone else lately.
We know working it out he left it, dropped it at the supermarket checkout. He only went shopping then straight back to the car. He dosent normally do things like this.
We went back to the supermarket but they say nothing has been handed in? Where has it gone then? The insurance isnt worth claiming on as there is a big access.
Anyone know if supermarkets have cctv on every checkout.

Unless it was stuffed full of cash, just ring the bank, cancel your cards straight away. Its annoying but not the end of the world.
Maybe check back this evening / tomorrow with the supermarket again to see if its been handed in. If it has, it will be minus any cash that was in it anyway.0 -
No, but hubby lost the car keys (he had never removed the spare key from the fob) and as I was organising a tow truck to take it to the nearest garage to sort it out for new keys etc coming to the tune of hundreds of pounds, he looked in the bin and found them sat ontop of the last rubbish bag he put in. It was bin day and they hadn't taken the bin because of the ice. I could've murdered him.0

Supermarkets do have CCTV but only in some areas... I know mine personally where I work only have CCTV on about 2 checkouts that they use to catch naughty checkout operaters.. lol perhaps you'll get lucky? Have you checked down all side of car seats?People don't know what they want until you show them.0

OH lost his wallet in our local Asda carpark a couple months ago. But didn't actually know he'd dropped it until Asda Cust Services rang him to tell him!!

I don't think, even if they do have CCTV covering the checkout he used, that it's going to be much use to you.
If he dropped it all the footage will show is the person behind him picking it up but there's no way of tracing who that person is.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
You have cancelled all the cards, right?
If not, do that now before anything else!0 -
the shop isnt covered on their insurance for this are they?:footie:0

No. This is nothing to do with the shop. Your husband carelessly lost his wallet somewhere. It may or may not have been in the shop. Why would the shop want to claim on their insurance for your husband's carelessness, its got nothing to do with them.0
