Longest ever spell without a DECENT win?

Just for my curiosity, and I target this question towards those that won a significant prize (i.e. ITV cash/car/holidays etc) - how long have you guys taken part in competitions before THAT big win? And did you win anything semi-decent (like an iPad, LCD TV or a weekend away) throughout this waiting process? :)

    about 18 months before I won a designer watch - since then I've won a weekend away, a holiday & a £250 personal shopping experience

    My last big win was 18 months ago but I have won plenty of books, movies and other prizes since so I am happy with that :)

    Errrm is not being crazy at all! :) It must be just my point of view, plus the fact that there's so many BIG thinks to be won.... I would compare it to winning a £1,000 on a lottery. Would I be happy? Yes, of course!! Would that grand sort my life out long-term? Of course not! Anyway, fingers crossed for all of you for a semi-decent, biggish or a massive, life-changing prize in near future! x

    I think most of us have been comping for quite some time and have NEVER won what you categorise as a 'decent' prize. Just being realistic, most people regularly win small prizes, rarely win anything over £50 and never win prizes of the size you are aiming for.

    Ive been comping for 2 years and my first win was in may which was a family cinema ticket, and my second win last month was a dishwasher and a 3 month supply of dishwashing tablets. This is a massive prize for me and I still cant quite believe it, it does spur you on to think there IS actually every chance it will be YOUR name drawn :)
    I would love to win a holiday abroad, that would be amazing, fingers crossed :)

    I was comping for 3 years before I won a 'big prize' It was an Ipad just before christmas. I enjoy getting all the little prizes too. I am still waiting for the cash win though but enjoy getting the little prizes too. I have enough books on my to be read pile to last a year. ha ha
