Yes as I have said many times, what's happened in the past does not predict the future.

It would be exactly how it is now, people would be directed to the new "guidelines" to show how to post a comp & asked to correct it. It would just mean that when I or any of the others ask people to change the title it's under the "guidelines"

I hardly ever go back to competition I have posted once I've posted it.

Surely, if it is desired to have all this information in the title to save time, correcting the OP takes even more time and doesn't come across as appreciative of the time that person has taken to post the competition in the first place.
Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path. My mind is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the way to a just and right resolution. Amen.

I didn't say that I don't put any info in the title. But I think that life is too short, and the number of characters allowed is too few, to add all of the info that Luckyone suggested.

some would say lifes too short to comp ;)
they can easily be abbreviated - TW, RC, FB, E

That's why I always say thanks

And I then sometimes PM the person to let them know

    Agree, Mamzie.

I don't always post FB, TW etc. in the title. If I remember, I do, and whilst I appreciate that it helps others to have that information, it doesn't take too much longer to hover over the post.

My time is also valuable. There are lots of competitions to enter and not enough time to enter them. The more information others want posting, the less time for the person who is posting.

It really does not take much time to put (Rafflecopter) in a title it's seconds

It doesn't take much time to click on a link and click the back button either.

flipping well does on slow broadband connections :(

 There is always time to comp :rotfl:
  • I see both sides but at least if you click into it and RAFFLECOPTER wasn't in the title it's not the end of the world it's just a little !*#%! Whereas if it becomes such a chore or so complicated (for those who are new posting) then people may be put off posting altogether. X

I don't think the opening poster can be responsible for that though, WeAreGhosts, although I know what you mean about slow connections.

I just think, you can't please everyone, no matter what you do. I'm sure there would be things I would find useful but it would put more time on the OP so I also have to help myself.

Comping should be fun, not stressful.

I would find it useful if someone entered all the comps for me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Seriously though any takers? :D
