Evening all. Yesterday and today went much better than anticipated. Mum had a really nice day today and got some lovely presents, so she was really pleased. Think her best birthday present will be seeing her grandson and his GF at the weekend, she is so excited!

Still very quiet on here, hope you are all well.

    Good morning guys

    Hope everyone is well.

We have sunshine again today so going to do some washing in a bit. Might even do a bit of weeding as well.

    Good morning everyone:)

Sorry not been about much very hectic with DS1 moving then the twister that was left in it's wake lol DSIL said to DS2 when they popped over to fix something while we were away if burglars had come knocking they would have left thinking the place had already been done. Lol sorted the dining room which had become his sort of study (so glad to get that back) the living room nearly there again, the rest will have to wait until we back. As on our way to stay in Glasgow for our Edinburgh tattoo tomorrow so waited so long to go to this we are staying in Glasgow as so dam expensive to stay anywhere near Edinburgh this month lol.

So glad it a lot cooler again lol

Definitely AH. Loved it but it was such a long way - took us 8 hours to get home. Back to Whitby next year :p :rotfl:

It is a long journey jeferey but we would leave very early in morning like 5am we used to stop at Porlock Hill or mostly Lynton & Lynmouth have breakfast spend a few hours then carry on just to break up the traveling. Must admit thou as DH has got older instead of doing the scenic route which I prefer (but then I ain't doing the driving) we have done the quicker more boring route.:rotfl:
