Not much sun here either, although did go for a (first in years) run at lunchtime in preparation for pretty muddy race for life next month, oh heck!

Some of my seeds are coming along nicely but nothing from my toms, are they duds?

Morning Kerri and everyone else :D

Your toms may be ok - a similar thing happened to me last year and only 3 cam up out of about 12 so I chucked some more in where the others hadn't appeared and then they all came!

Have you got them inside in a warm place? If they are in a pot or seed tray can you cover them with glass/plastic/cling film until they show? I always start mine off inside and then transplant them when they are maybe 5 or 6 inches tall.

Thanks Jeffrey, I've put some cling film over the pots of toms and moved them upstairs where it's warmer to see if that makes any difference. Otherwise it will be freegle to beg some excess plants if anyone has some.

Feels like spring has returned today, actually saw the sun after the foggy start .

its pouring with rain, and really grey and miserable and cold today here. No chance of gardening today.

Afternoon Kerri, PM, CW and everyone else :D
I sowed some more courgettes last night in 3" pots in the greenhouse. The sky turned black and I just managed to get in the house before a torrential downpour with thunder and lightening
This morning it has rained on and off most of the morning in Sheffield - almost makes me glad to be at work :rotfl:
